A Late Night is a relaxing VR experience set within a customisable living room. As part of my internship at Liminal VR, I was tasked with producing a calming virtual reality game in a team of diverse individuals. We created a visually stunning and mechanically enjoyable experience that can be customised by the player.
The experience sits the player in the living room couch and lets them interact with objects around the room. Some of these objects include the speakers, fireplace and lamp. Additionally, birds and planes will pass by outside the window during the experience.
I lead the design production of this project and contributed to animations and audio. I created various 3D assets and particle FX to be used in the level, while also designing the layout through sketching, grey-boxing and dressing.
This experience took 13 weeks to conceptualise, document and develop in-engine. This project was created alongside Thomas Graham, Citra Christani, Alex G, and Lily.
