Witness is a 3D, First-Person walking simulator created using Unity in the HDRP Pipeline. The theme for this rapid prototype was sensation. I wanted to make players feel distressed and afraid in the environment by using dead bodies and disturbing audio recordings. This project allowed me to learn more about audio manipulation in FMOD and how to import sounds into Unity. I created all the death audio recordings using various sounds I found from freesound.org and ZapSplat. The purpose of the game is to simply witness the aftermath of a village slaughter, there is no objective.
This rapid prototype took 2 weeks to conceptualise, document and create in-engine. Witness was a solo project.
